Resourcing for Mental Health

With all that is happening in the world right now mental health tools are imperative. We are enduring crazy behavior of people all around us. Just this week, we saw the attempted “coup” at the White House in the US. Here in my home community of Riverview, we received several emergency alerts as police searched for a man who shot a teacher in our local high school. Searching for Tools to Help Others!

  In 1985 I was searching for some tools to help me help the youth I was working with at the time. I was a nurse in the Sexual Health Center. I felt that the youth had many more problems than I was equipped to help them with. I decided to take a counselling course, theory and practice to find some of those tools.
