There is such relief in an unplugged toilet! We have been 24 hours with a plugged toilet in the main part of our house. We have another one so we did have access but it was an inconvenience. The plumber arrives and with his special snake and one twist and $115.00 dollars later, we can flush!
This is a crappy story I know but “man” does it ever feel good to have it operating again. You see we thought that we could keep plunging and eventually we would be successful. But after a while you realize doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is really not going to work. Isn’t that the definition of insanity!
We could have taken the toilet off ourselves and run a snake through but it would take twice as long and who knows what could have happened so it is money well spent to bring in the expert! How often do we try to fix things ourselves when there are experts available that can really help your life be a lot easier?

This is a crazy comparison, I know but it is where my mind is this morning.
