Our Toastmaster at Riverview Canusa posted a message in our face book page. Yes, at our club we have a face book page. We can post pictures from our meetings, we post calls to take role at our meetings. We ask questions. It is all part of the toastmaster experience.
I signed up to speak on Monday night.. I will speak about one of the projects I did in our New Pathways Program. Toastmasters entered the era of online these past couple of years so the books and all the information we need to succeed with toastmasters is all online now.
Don’t worry you can still get the paper copy but the idea is to reduce the paper that we are using. Some people fear the technology which is why we have Pathway guides and what we refer to as Base Camp Managers and Mentors.
You do not do it alone. If you need assistance or want a mentor we will be sure to help you get what you need. There are 10 paths to complete and five levels to each path. The learning is all self-directed so you take as much or as little time you need to prepare your projects. An 11th path has just been added and it is about Speaking with Humor. We do have fun at Toastmasters.
Right now we have a membership drive happening and would love to have you visit and check us out. We meet on Monday evenings at 7pm at Sobey’s in Riverview, New Brunswick.
