As the weekend comes upon us I am excited to go to our next basketball game leading to the NBL championships. Tickets are selling fast and the organization says it is going to be a full house! This is very exciting for all of us who are fans.
Before going to the game though I am putting the final touches on a program called “ Take Charge of Your Life” which I will be presenting at the Canadian Counseling and Psychology Association as a pre-conference session on Monday next week.
The Take Charge program has been developed by William Glasser International and is designed to help individuals focus on their own mental health. It also gives an introduction to Choice Theory. It is a program designed for those who are certified to be able to use to help others.
I just heard recently that this program is now available to go online so I may do one after everything settles down this month. It is a very big month for us with Certification May 24-27 followed by the first level of the Practicum Supervisor Program, My 28,29.
Just before starting all this training, Lynn Sumida who is coming in to assist me with the training, has agreed to do a public evening on Demystifying the Myths of Success. She has been an entrepreneur for over 30 years and she will be sharing some of her insights and experiences. There will be an opportunity to do some networking as well.
If you are near Moncton and surrounding area, you might want to join us for what I believe will be an inspiring evening. Here is the link for more information and to buy tickets.
Yours in growing awareness
