Susan just said: “ I wish you would write a blog someday on Dreams.  I decided that there is no time like the present and I love a challenge.

It is interesting that this week I did one of those quizzes on facebook…you know the ones where you determine what personality you are, what animal you are, what bird you are. The one I took this week was about what type of person are you. Turns out I am a dreamer.

What does it mean to inspire?  The Meriam Webster dictionary give the following meaning to the work

In-spire:

• to make (someone) want to do something : to give (someone) an idea about what to do or create
• to cause (something) to happen or be created
• to cause someone to have (a feeling or emotion)

While this is the definition in the dictionary, I do not believe we can make anyone do anything. I do believe though, that we can influence others by offering ideas.

Now was the first day of the Certification Process. Here I was with 10 other people and an amazing instructor, Jeanette McDaniel. Jeanette was an expert in helping us all be at ease in this process. She was to become a mentor, friend and role model to me.

On Friday, August 23, 2013 Dr. William Glasser passed away with his wife Carleen, his children Alice and Martin and his grandchildren by his side. His entire life was about relationships and how we treat each other. Carleen has asked that we celebrate his life and I intend to do this through this blog.
